Crockpot Cabbage And Sausage

This is super quick and super easy. Can be thrown together before leaving for work and left cooking all day!!

Cut sausage into 2 inch pieces
Place in bottom of crockpot
Remove the core from the cabbage and quarter
Place in crockpot on top of the sausages
Sprinkle with salt and pepper
Cover and cook on low all day, up to 10 hours
**May quarter a few potatoes and put under the cabbage if there are some who don't like cabbage in your crowd**

I make my cabbage and Polish sausage/kielbasa this way all the time. I use it as a shortcut for a Polish recipe that my dear Mother-in-law taught me and I absolutely love it. I usually add some chicken broth and a couple of teaspoons of butter but quite honestly the butter isn't necessary. Love this recipe and it's a "5" fork plus!!!

I'm a cabbage head. LOL

I started a cabbage group and added your recipe to it, hope you don't mind. This is a really good, simple recipe for a busy day. :)
