Tomato Pork Loin Chops Recipe
Pork chops are browned ,then braised in a wonderfully seasoned tomato sauce. Makes quite an impression at the dinner table

Ingredients
  • 2Tbs olive oil,divided
  • 4 boneless pork loin chops,pounded thin
  • 1 lg. onion,sliced
  • 1/2tsp sugar
  • 2tsp chili powder
  • 1/2tsp fennel seeds,crushed
  • 1/2tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1tsp dried oregano
  • 1(8oz) can tomato sauce
  • 2fl/oz.water
  • 1tsp worcerstershire sauce
  • salt and pepper.

Directions
  1. Heat oil in skillet over high heat,andquickly brown the pork chops on both sides. Transfer chops to platter,and keep warm.
  2. Reduce skillet heat to medium and cook onion till tender. Mix in the sugar,chili powder,fennel,red pepper flakes and oregano. Stir in the tomato sauce,water,and worcestershire sauce and bring to a boil.
  3. Returm pork chops to skillet. Cover,reduce heat to low,and cook 10 mins. Remove cover,and continue cooking 15 mins or to desired doneness
