Just when you think you have nothing to satisfy that sweet tooth...
This is great because most people have these few things already in the pantry!! Bakes up beautifully!!

Ok...I Love this recipe...A LOT!
Here's my alteration...
make recipe as usual;
add about 3oz cream cheese - cut up into small bites...about 1/4 - 1/2 cup sliced almonds... and a splash of vanilla extract.
bake according to original recipe.
I thought this was delicious and I hope you do too!
Candi thanks again for an awesome recipe!!

An edit to the above...
I only used 2 or 3 TBS of butter. Melted in the pan in the oven, then the rest of the recipe as above. :)

I've used a similar recipe for years. It's always a hit! We call it "lazy man's cobbler".

This is a long time favorite in my family! My daddy used biscuit mix instead of self-rising flour. He had a certain glass bowl that he would fill with fruit and then he knew he had the right amount for his recipe! I have one in the oven right now with canned peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon sprinkled over them.
