How to make it

  • **NIGHT BEFORE**
  • slice bread into 20 pieces
  • butter 13x9 dish
  • place bread in 3 rows, overlapping
  • combine all other "bread" items with electric mixer
  • pour over bread to cover all slices, lifting and spooning mixture in between all pieces
  • cover and place in fridge overnight
  • **NEXT MORNING**
  • preheat oven to 350
  • cream together all "topping" items
  • spread over bread using it all
  • bake uncovered 40 minutes or until golden
  • **MAKING SYRUP**
  • heat to boiling all "syrup" items except maple at medium heat
  • stir constantly
  • remove from heat then add maple flavoring
  • ***can use bought syrup if you choose, it is just as good. or pour bought syrup in boiler and heat...I doubt they'll know the difference***
