- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 cups bread flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup pitted dates, halved shopping list
- 1/4 cup coarsely chopped almonds, toasted shopping list
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee crystals shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons FLEISCHMANN'S bread machine yeast shopping list

- coffee icing Dissolve 1 teaspoon instant coffee crystals in 1 teaspoon hot water. Stir in 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar and enough milk (1 to 2 teaspoons) to make icing of drizzling consistency. shopping list
How to make it
- Use the 1-pound recipe if your machine pan holds 10 cups or less of water. Add all ingredients except icing to bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer, adding dates and almonds with flour. (If dough is too dry or stiff or too soft or slack, adjust dough consistency - see Adjusting Dough Consistency tip below.) Drizzle cooled loaf with Coffee Icing.
