Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup oil

2 whole eggs; beaten

1 cup lowfat 1% milk

1 1/2 cups flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal

Directions

Mix all ingredients just until moist.

Bake in a greased 9" square pan at 400º for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Serve hot with plenty of butter and honey on the side.
