How to make it

  • Slice the cucumbers & onions and place in a large bowl. Add the dill weed and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar, water & salt; bring to a boil.
  • Pour over cucumber mixture.
  • Cover & refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
  • Yield: 6 Cups
  • I've altered this recipe from time to time depending on how many cucumbers I have. I always make sure I have enough of the sugar/vinegar mixture to cover all the veggies.

    Nevermind the kids I can eat the whole bowl myself. I love these especially in hot weather.
