Ingredients

1/8 Wedge Lime

1 Tablespoon Sugar,or more

1-1/2 Ounces Cachaca or light rum

Ice

Directions

Place lime wedge and sugar in the bottom of a glass.

Using the handle of a wooden spoon.

Crush the lime into sugar.

Add ice and cachaca and stir.

Serve

Ok--Now imagine you are in Florianopolis

You actually don't use the sugar cane to make it sweet. Cachaca is made of sugar cane.

I never made with rum, in Brasil they either make it with cachaca (caipinha)or Vodka (caipivodka).
Try mixing different fruits, too! My favorite is passion fruit & lime. It's a perfect combination! Another good one is strawberry & kiwi! Yummmmmmm!!!! :)
