Chocolate Cherries Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix vanilla wafers, powdered sugar and nuts.
  • Combine water, margarine, corn syrup and coffee.
  • Add to vanilla wafer mixture.
  • Shape approximately 1/2 tablespoon of this mixture around each cherry.
  • Cover and refridgerate 2 houurs.
  • Melt and stir chocolate over low heat approximately 5 minutes until melted.
  • Hold stems and dip cherries in chocolate coating carefully and completely.
  • Refrigerate.

    What a pretty presentation these must make. I can see them on a cookie platter, I usually do those in quadrants of different types and this would even be pretty as the border and arrange cookies in rings on the platter. I've bookmarked this one.
