How to make it

  • In a sauce pan sprinkle gelatine over brine , let stand and dessolve (5 minutes)
  • In a mixing bowl, mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped jalapenos, lime juice, whipping cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, until combined
  • Heat the brine and gelatine, do not boil.
  • pour brine and gelatine into the cheese mixture and mix well.
  • Spoon into paper lined cupcake pans that have a Ritz cracker at the bottom. .Fill about 3/4 full.
  • Chill until firm. About 1 hour
  • This is also wonderful made with other cheeses besides cheddar. You can also replace the jalapenos with olives, artichokes, or roasted garlic cloves..
