SOPA DE FLAN ---- custard soup

- 3- eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1/4 -teaspoon salt shopping list
- dash of pepper shopping list
- dash of nutmeg shopping list
- 2- tablespoon butter shopping list
- 2- tablespoons all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1-103/4 ounce can of chicken broth shopping list
- 3/4 - cup water shopping list
- 1/2- cup whipping cream shopping list
- salt and pepper again to taste shopping list
How to make it
- beat eggs with milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- pour into a butterrede 8x8x2 inch loaf pan.
- set pan in a larger shallow pan on the oven rack.
- pour hot water around the loaf pan to depth of 1 inch.
- bake in 325 f. degree oven 25 to 30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
- chill; then cute custard into small cubes..............
- meanwhile , melt butter , stir in flour.
- add condensed chicken broth and water all at once;
- cook and stir untill thickened and bubbly.
- stir in cream, gently stir in cubed custard.
- heat through.
- season to taste with additional salt and pepper
- makes 4 servings ......... and .enjoy this light delicious soup....
