How to make it

  • Boil water for pasta and cook to al dente as per package directionss
  • Open cans of tuna and press oil into saute pan.
  • Add 1 Tbsp of olive oil
  • Add chopped celery, chopped onion, sundried tomatoes, capers and garlic.
  • Simmer on low for about 20 minutes, adding olive oil if necessary and stirring every few minutes.
  • Add 1 pat of butter, white wine and more olive oil so that it will make a nice alio olio for the pasta. Add salt and pepper and /or crushed red pepper to taste.
  • Take hot cooked pasta and toss with alio olio sauce, adding a little olive oil if necessary.
  • Put pasta on a platter and chunk up the canned tuna over the top.
