  • BLEND TIME FOR HONEY 24 HRS

  • To make the lavender-infused honey:
  • -------------------------------
  • Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  • Dissolve honey in the boiling water.
  • Remove from heat and add lavender.
  • Stir and allow to cool before pouring into an airtight container.
  • Set lavender honey aside and allow flavors to blend for 24 hours.
  • -------------------------------
  • Dip a martini glass in the lavender honey, then in sugar; set aside. In a martini shaker filled with ice, add cognac, Cointreau, lemon juice, peach bitters and 1/2 ounce lavender-infused honey.
  • Shake well for at least 15 seconds and strain into a fluted glass. Garnish with orange twist and serve.
