Vanilla Cream Cheese Sheet Cake With Fudge Frosting Recipe
This is a Taste of Home recipe that I use often because everyone always loves it. It is rich, moist and so good!

Ingredients
  • CAKE:
  • 1c. + 2T. butter
  • 6oz. cream cheese; softened
  • 2 1/4c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2t. vanilla
  • 2 1/4c. cake flour
  • FROSTING:
  • 1c. sugar
  • 1/3c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2c. butter
  • 1/2c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions
  1. CAKE:
  2. Cream butter, cream cheese & sugar.
  3. Add eggs one at a time; beat well after each.
  4. Beat in vanilla.
  5. Stir in flour.
  6. Bake @ 325F for 30-35 min. in a 15x10x1" pan.
  7. Cool completely before frosting.
  8. FROSTING:
  9. Combine sugar & milk in a saucepan; bring to a boil over med. heat.
  10. Cover and cook for 3 min. DO NOT Stir.
  11. Stir in butter & chocolate chips until melted.
  12. Cool slightly.
  13. Stir and spread over cake.
