How to make it

  • cut chicken tigh into small strips
  • clean and soak shitake mushrooms in 80 cc hot water for 30 minutes, cut the shitake mushrooms into small stips, presserve the water
  • saute garlic in oil ( the original recipe uses chicken fat) until it smells great, before it turns golden brown add chicken, beans and mushrooms, add few tbs of the preserved mushroom water stirr
  • add sugar to caramelize add soy sauce salt and pepper
  • prepare 2 small bowls devide the chicken into the two bowls
  • devide the rice into the bowls pour chicken stock and water from soaking the mushroom
  • steam for around 20 minutes, turn off the stove but don't open the lid keep it steamming for another 15 minutes
  • flip the bowl over to a plate, serve
