moms steamed chicken rice

- 1 cup of rice shopping list
- 2 boneles chicken tigh shopping list
- 3 dried shitake mushrooms shopping list
- 3 tbs green beans shopping list
- 2 teaspoon of soy sauce shopping list
- 1 cloves of garlic minced shopping list
- 1 tbs of olive (oil or peanut oil or chicken oil) shopping list
- 1 cup of chicken stock shopping list
- pinch of salt and pepper shopping list
- pinch of sugar shopping list
How to make it
- cut chicken tigh into small strips
- clean and soak shitake mushrooms in 80 cc hot water for 30 minutes, cut the shitake mushrooms into small stips, presserve the water
- saute garlic in oil ( the original recipe uses chicken fat) until it smells great, before it turns golden brown add chicken, beans and mushrooms, add few tbs of the preserved mushroom water stirr
- add sugar to caramelize add soy sauce salt and pepper
- prepare 2 small bowls devide the chicken into the two bowls
- devide the rice into the bowls pour chicken stock and water from soaking the mushroom
- steam for around 20 minutes, turn off the stove but don't open the lid keep it steamming for another 15 minutes
- flip the bowl over to a plate, serve
