This is my sisters recipe and one of my favorites. Combine it with my Marie Calendar Corn Bread recipe and you've got a tasty meal! The recipe can be doubled or tripled with great success.

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 lbs Stew meat
  • 4 - 6 Carrots; quartered or 1 small pkg of baby carrots
  • 4 - 6 Potatoes; peeled and quartered
  • 1 Sweet Onion; peeled and quartered
  • 1 Large can tomatoes
  • 1 Pkg dry onion soup mix
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom soup

Directions
  1. Combine all into an oven safe dish or pot.
  2. Cook in a slow oven (325 degrees) for 4 hours.
  3. Note: DO NOT brown stew meat before adding to mixture. Meat will cook completely in stew.
