Cinnamon Peach Crisp Recipe
This dessert is so good. Yet easy to make fresh peaches and a sweet crunchy topping.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups sliced peeled fresh peaches
  • 1/2 cup orange
  • 2 tbsps. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tps ground cinnamom
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tps. baking powder
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tbsps. butter, melted
  • Cinnamom-Sugar
  • 1-1/2 tps. sugar
  • 1/8 tps. ground cinnamom

Directions
  1. 1. In a bowl, combine peaches, orange juice, brown sugar and cinnamom. Transfer to an 8-inch. square baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. 2. Combine flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add egg and butter; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over peaches. Combine sugar and cinnamom; sprinkle over crumb mixture.
  3. 3. Bake at 350 F. for 40-45 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is golden brown. Serve warm

This sounds like a great recipe and would be easy to use a sugar sub. like splenda maybe, for diabetics...

Doesn't this just scream "Summer"?


I had to add an extra cup (2 Cups instead of 1 Cup) of flour for the topping.. dunno what's up with that.. I also used frozen peaches.. these were too bitter for this recipe.. Otherwise, it came out well! Thx, Stacy

PS. I am so sure that this recipe would be AWESOME if I had some sweeter peaches!!!! THX again.
