Shrimp N Tomato Pate

- 250 ml tomato sauce shopping list
- 250 g cream cheese shopping list
- 250 g cooked shrimp shopping list
- 1/2 cup (125ml) onions - chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup (125ml) celery - chopped shopping list
- 1 tblspn ( 1 - 15 ml envelope ) gelatin shopping list
- 1/3 cup cold water shopping list
- 1 cup ( 250 ml ) mayonnaise shopping list
How to make it
- Lightly grease a 1 quart mold
- In a double boiler, mix together the tomato sauce & the cream cheese. Heat until the cheese has blended with the tomato sauce
- Pour the mixture into a blender together with the shrimp, onions & celery
- Blend at medium speed until combined
- Disolve the gelatin in the water
- Add the mayonnaise & the gelatin to the blender & process until thoroughly mixed.
- Pour into the prepared mold
- Cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate for 12 hrs
- To remove from the mold , dip the mold briefly in hot water
- .
- NOTE :-
- A food processor could also be used
