Apple Pecan Cobbler

- 6 apples peeled and sliced shopping list
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon honey shopping list
- 1-1/2 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1-1/2 tablespoons melted butter shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1/4 cup melted butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 1-1/3 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup whole milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup melted butter shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425.
- Grease a square baking pan or dish.
- In a large mixing bowl carefully spoon together apples, brown sugar, honey, tapioca, lemon juice, cinnamon and chopped pecans.
- Pour apple filling into greased pan or dish and drizzle melted butter over the top and set aside.
- In another large bowl combine flour, baking powder, sugar, pecans, butter and whipping cream.
- Stir vigorously with a wooden spoon about 30 seconds until a stiff dough forms.
- Spoon pecan dough on top of apple pecan filling to create a cobblestone effect.
- Bake 25 minutes.
- Cool 15 minutes before adding glaze.
- To make the glaze in a medium saucepan stir powdered sugar and milk over medium heat until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
- Set aside to cool about 5 minutes then pour over cooled cobbler to form glaze.
- Serve immediately.

I made this an hour ago..it is awesome! My husband thought it was for Thanksgiving dinner..he told me it wouldn't make it! Delightful, apple, nuts and cinnamon..it is a keeper. Thanks for the post!
