Chicken N Potato Paprika

- 3 - 4 lb frying chicken - cut into 8 pieces shopping list
- 3 Tblspn butter shopping list
- 1 Tblspn paprika shopping list
- 2 tsp instant chicken bouillon granules shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/8 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1 med onion - cut into thin slices & separated into rings shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups apple juice shopping list
- 4 medium potatoes - peeled & cut up shopping list
- 4 medium carrots - peeled & sliced 1/4" thick shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 2 Tblspn all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 Tblspn fresh chives - chopped shopping list
How to make it
- In a large skillet, melt butter until sizzling
- Add chicken & cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, until browned - about 15 mins
- Sprinkle with all seasonings
- Top with onion
- Add apple juice
- Reduce heat to low.
- Cover & cook 15 mins
- Add potatoes & carrots
- Cover & continue cooking until the chicken is no longer pink & the potatoes are fork tender - about 25 - 35 mins
- In a smal bowl, stir together sour cream & chives.
- Push chicken & vegetables to one side of skillet & stir sour cream mixture into juices in skillet until well mixed.
- Carefully stir chicken & vegetables into sauce
- Continue cooking until thickened & heated through - about 2 - 3 mins
