Bellpepper And Chili Jam

- 5 large red bell peppers shopping list
- 4 red chili peppers (medium strong) shopping list
- The zest of one lemon shopping list
- 1 kg sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Remove the seeds from the peppers and the chilies. Coarsly chop.
- Put the peppers and the chilies in a casserole, add water until it reaches a couple of centimeters above the bottom of the casserole.
- Simmer for 10 minutes
- Blend to a purée and add the lemon zest
- Measure the volume of the purée and add an equal volume of sugar
- Simmer until it has reduced with about 1/3
