How to make it

  • Prepare honey mustard a day ahead to let the flavors blend
  • Cut chicken into 1/2' x 2" strips
  • Place flour, salt & pepper in a re-sealable plastic bag, shake to mix
  • Place milk in a bowl
  • Dip chicken strips in milk & place into thebag of flour in batches
  • Shake to coat well
  • Shake excess flour off each piece & place on wax paper in single layer until all are coated
  • Divide chicken into batches
  • Heat 1/4 inch of oil in a large heavy skillet over medium/high heat
  • Place chicken strips in an even layer in hot oil
  • Fry, turning once, for about 3 mins on each side or until golden brown
  • Drain on paper towels
  • Repeat until all chicken is fried, keeping the rest warm in a low heat oven
  • .
  • NOTE:- If you would prefer fingers a little spicy, add 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper to the flour mixture
