Baked Rigatoni And Ham With Four Cheeses Recipe
This pasta dish is flavor packed with cheese mozzarella, provolone, fontina and Parmesan. A cheese lover's delight. Simply irrestible.

Ingredients
  • 3 Tbs butter, divided
  • 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 8 ounces rigatoni, uncooked
  • 2 Tbs all-purpose flour
  • 2 Cups milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 ounces diced cooked ham
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded fontina cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. Melt 1 Tbs butter in a small saucepan over low heat
  2. Add breadcrumbs, and toss well. Set aside
  3. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well. Set aside and keep warm
  4. Melt remaining 2 Tbs butter in heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour stirring until smooth
  5. cook 1 minute stirring constantly.
  6. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixtue is thickened and bubbly.
  7. Stir in salt and pepper.
  8. Add ham cheeses, stirring until cheese melt.
  9. Add cooked pasta to cheese mixture; stir well.
  10. Pour into a buttered 2 quart baking dish.
  11. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
  12. Uncover and sprinkle with breadcrumb mixture.
  13. Bake 7 additional minutes or until golden.
