Chocolate Chip Scones

Very good! The chocolate chips melt in the oven and it makes the scones taste very interesting.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 4 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons shortening shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk or cream shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/3 cup choco chips shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 375
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar
- mix well
- cut in butter and shortening
- in a seperate bowl, combine cream with beaten egg
- add dry ingredients
- stir in choc chips
- turn dough out onto floured surface
- roll dough out and pull off biscuit size rounds
- place on greased baking sheet
- bake for 15 minutes or until brown
