Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • Blend the oil and sugar until the oil disappears then add the eggs and blend.
  • Sift together and blend to the above ingredients:
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 tsps. cinnamon
  • 2 tsps. baking soda
  • 2 tsps. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Beat in and blend:
  • 3 c. grated carrots
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • Bake at 350 degrees in greased tube pan about 1 hout and 15 minutes.
  • This may vary with different ovens.

Directions
  1. Icing:
  2. Cake is good with or without.
  3. 1 4 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  4. 1/2 stick butter
  5. 1/2 box confeectioners sugar
  6. Blend above ingredients.
  7. Add milk or cream to make spreading consistency.
