Old Fashioned Tea Cakes

- 1 c. shortening shopping list
- 1 c. sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2 Tbsps. vinegar shopping list
- 1 tsp. nutmeg shopping list
- 1 tsp. soda shopping list
- 4 c. sifted flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
How to make it
- Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs.
- Dissolve and add soda and vinegar.
- Add remaining ingredients. Chill.
- Roll out and cut in desired shapes.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 375 deg. until golden brown.
