Tender Biscuits

- 11 oz Ap flour shopping list
- 2 oz sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon baking powder shopping list
- Pinch of salt shopping list
- 2 oz butter, cold, cut into small chunks shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup cream shopping list
- 1/8 cup of cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat over to 350.
- Combine the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl.
- Cut in the butter using you hands.
- Make a well in the center, and add the cream
- Combine gently, and ever so lightly, making sure that you do not over work the dough. Over working the dough, even slightly, will result in tough biscuits.
- Turn dough out to a lightly floured surface.
- Using a rolling pin, roll out dough to desired thickness.
- Using a cutter of your choice, cut out biscuits, and place on baking sheet.
- Brush lightly with 1/8 cup of cream.
- Bake for 15-18 min until light golden brown.
