My All Purpose Marinade made in Québec

- 1/2 cup tamari (a lighter, less salty soya sauce) shopping list
- 1/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped shopping list
- 1-2" piece of fesh ginger shopping list
- 2 tbsp Herbes salées du Bas-du-Fleuve (also available at herbes@herbesalees.com) OR salty herbs mixture of your choice shopping list
- 1 tsp onion powder or any other spices (to your taste) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all the ingredients in a food processor. Use the marinade to flavour tofu, meats, game (bison, caribou, deer) and vegetables in a plastic bag or in a plastic container before cooking them.
- Depending on the quantity of meat or vegetables to marinate, you can use half of the recipe and refrigerate the other half for future use within the same week or two.
