Cranberry Chutney

- 1 cup chopped granny smith apples shopping list
- 1 cup golden raisins shopping list
- 1 cup chopped shallots shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 3/4 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 3/4 cup port or good sherry shopping list
- 2 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1 and 1/2 tsp. ground fresh ginger shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves shopping list
- 1 (12 oz) bag of fresh cranberries shopping list
- 1 pint blueberries shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all in a large saucepan, stir well
- Bring to a boil
- Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes or until slightly thick, stirring occassionally
- Cool down and then place in bags or containers
- Refrigerate for immediate use or freeze for later
- Yields appx. 4 cups
