Cranberry Chutney Recipe
Great cranberry chutney not only for chicken and turkey but I use it a lot with pork also.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped Granny Smith Apples
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1 cup chopped shallots
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4 cup chopped celery
  • 3/4 cup port or good sherry
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp. ground fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 (12 oz) bag of fresh cranberries
  • 1 pint blueberries

Directions
  1. Combine all in a large saucepan, stir well
  2. Bring to a boil
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes or until slightly thick, stirring occassionally
  4. Cool down and then place in bags or containers
  5. Refrigerate for immediate use or freeze for later
  6. Yields appx. 4 cups
