Tiny Trim Smoothie

A scrumptious smoothie that is a snap to make. Makes a superb quick breakfast. From, Slim Smoothies.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple juice shopping list
- 1 to 2 tsp. honey (or to taste), optional shopping list
- 1/2 cup diced kiwi shopping list
- 1/2 cup diced strawberries shopping list
- 1/2 cup diced bananas shopping list
- 1/4 cup nonfat Starwberry yogurt shopping list
How to make it
- Place all ingredients in a blender and mix by using the on/off pulse function until ingredients are mostly blended.
- Continue mixing gradually increasing the speed, until mixture is smooth.
- Pour mixture into a glass and garnish with a Strawberry Fan (optional.):
- 1 firm Strawberry, whole and unhulled
- Using a very sharp knife, start one fourth of an inch from the stem end of the strawberry and make vertical cuts through the berry, cutting through to the pointed end. Make about five to six very thin cuts, depending on the size of the strawberry. Place the strawberry on a plate and carefully spread the slices apart to resemble an opened fan. Slip a strawberry fan over the rim of glass.
