How to make it

  • Cut carrots into lengths the width and length of your little finger
  • Cut root ginger into matchstick lengths.Cut onion into chunks
  • Put into baking tray with the syrup and oil
  • Bake at gas 7 for about 40 minutes
  • Scrape into a saucepan including all the pan juices and add stock
  • Liquidise,re-heat and serve
