Hollys Tortellini Soup

- 1 lb italian sausage shopping list
- 1 lg onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 cl garlic, pressed shopping list
- 3 cn beef broth (14 1/2-ounce) shopping list
- 2 cn diced tomatoes, undrained shopping list
- (14 1/2-ounce) shopping list
- 1 cn tomato sauce (8-ounce) shopping list
- 1 c dry red wine shopping list
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 tb sugar shopping list
- 2 ts italian seasoning shopping list
- 2 sm zucchini, sliced shopping list
- 1 pk cheese-filled tortellini shopping list
- (9 oz) shopping list
- 1/2 c shredded parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Discard the sausage casings. Cook sausage, onion, and garlic in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, stirring until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink; drain.
- Return mixture to pan. Stir in broth and next 6 ingredients; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; simmer 30 minutes. Skim off fat.
- Stir in zucchini and tortellini; simmer 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle each serving with cheese.
