Lamb Meatballs

- 1-1/2 to 2 lbs. or 1/2 kilo lamb, ground / minced shopping list
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped shopping list
- 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 slice whole wheat bread, torn into small pieces shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- 1-1/2 tablespoons parsley, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and black pepper shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons paprika shopping list
- all-purpose flour as needed shopping list
- oil as required shopping list
How to make it
- Mix meat, onion, green pepper, torn bread, egg, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic, cumin and paprika.
- Blend well with hands and form into balls about 1" or 2 cm. in diameter.
- Roll each meatball flour.
- Note: These can also be made into finger length rolls of meat instead of meatballs.
- In a heavy skillet heat a small amount of oil and brown the meatballs over a medium-high heat.
- Reduce the heat to medium and cook the meatballs in a covered skillet for approximately 25 minutes or until they are completely cooked.
- These are delicious served over lightly buttered egg noodles or your favorite pasta with sour cream on the side and a fresh garden salad.
- These are also delicious in your favorite tomato spaghetti sauce.
