How to make it

  • Mix meat, onion, green pepper, torn bread, egg, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic, cumin and paprika.
  • Blend well with hands and form into balls about 1" or 2 cm. in diameter.
  • Roll each meatball flour.
  • Note: These can also be made into finger length rolls of meat instead of meatballs.
  • In a heavy skillet heat a small amount of oil and brown the meatballs over a medium-high heat.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and cook the meatballs in a covered skillet for approximately 25 minutes or until they are completely cooked.
  • These are delicious served over lightly buttered egg noodles or your favorite pasta with sour cream on the side and a fresh garden salad.
  • These are also delicious in your favorite tomato spaghetti sauce.
