Hamburger Rice Skillet

- 1 pound ground beef shopping list
- 1 medium onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chiles shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups water shopping list
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice shopping list
- 1 envelope mild taco seasoning mix shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 cups chopped lettuce shopping list
- 3 green onions, chopped shopping list
- 1 tomato, chopped shopping list
- 1 avocado, sliced shopping list
- 1 (2 1/4-ounce) can sliced black olives, drained shopping list
- 1 cup mexican cheese blend shopping list
- tortilla chips shopping list
- salsa shopping list
- sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- Cook first 3 ingredients in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until beef is browned and crumbles, about 5 minutes; drain.
- Stir in tomato and green chiles and next 4 ingredients. Cook, covered, over medium heat 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover and cook 15 more minutes; remove from heat.
- Sprinkle lettuce and next 5 ingredients over hamburger mixture. Place tortilla chips around edge of skillet; serve with chips, sour cream, and salsa.
