How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cream together butter, sugar, molasses and eggs.
  • Mix together dry ingredients.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix well.
  • Roll into 1-1/2" balls and roll in sugar.
  • Bake on baking stone 11 minutes or until tops are cracked.
  • Remove to cooling rack until completely cooled.
  • Store in air tight container.
  • This dough can be frozen in balls. Roll in sugar just before baking.
