Ingredients
  • SAUCE
  • 1-2 jars Classico roasted garlic n mushroom spaghetti sauce
  • 1 t chopped garlic
  • 3 T Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • MEATBALLS (measurements are approximate)
  • 2 lbs 93 % lean ground sirloin
  • Seasoned Salt
  • Garlic Pepper
  • 2 T Worcestershire
  • 1/2 packet beefy onion soup mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c grated parmesan
  • 1/4 c italian flavored bread crumbs
  • 3 T Italian Seasoning
  • 2 t chopped garlic
  • 2 t minced onion
  • SUBS
  • 1 tub mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 T margarine
  • 2 T Olive Oil
  • Shredded Mozzerella
  • Black Olives
  • Banana Peppers
  • Parmesan
  • Hoagie Rolls
  • Emeril's Garlic n Herb Butter (optional) (posted)

Directions
  1. SAUCE
  2. Simmer together all ingredients for sauce while making meatballs, this helps the jarred sauce have a little more of a homemade taste
  3. MEATBALLS
  4. Combine by hand all ingredients for meatballs
  5. Form into 1 inch - 1 1/2 inch balls
  6. Spray large skillet with non-stick spray
  7. Add meatballs and cook about 15 minutes, turning as they brown
  8. When brown on all sides, cover and cook about 10 minutes
  9. Pour sauce over all
  10. Re-cover and cook another 10 minutes or so
  11. SUBS
  12. While meatballs are cooking, saute mushrooms in margarine and olive oil
  13. If desired, butter insides of hoagie rolls with Emeril's Garlic N Herb Butter (posted, but, stir together butter, evoo, garlic and italian seasoning), and heat buttered side down in large skillet
  14. Fill buns with meatballs/sauce, top with mushrooms, olives, banana peppers, mozzerella, and parmesan as desired
