How a few curry leaves & some tamarind paste adds so much aroma & flavor to this quick stir fry shrimps !

Ingredients
  • 6 fresh water shrimps ( OR other seafood of your choice, shell-on shrimps, peeled shrimps, etc )
  • 3 stems curry leaves
  • 2 tsp tamarind concentrate
  • tumeric powder ( use to season the shrimps, and set aside )
  • chopped garlic
  • sliced oinion
  • salt and sugar to taste

Directions
  1. 1) Heat 3 tbsp oil in the preheated pan, stir fry your aromatics - garlic, onions, curry leaves.
  2. 2) Add in the seasoned shrimps, pan fry on both sides until slightly browned.
  3. 3) Add the tamarind concentrate in, salt, and sugar to taste, tossing and turning, stirring constantly until all ingredients are well mixed for 1 minute.
  4. 4) Add a little water to prevent sticking onto the bottom of the pan, cover and simmer on low heat for another 2 minutes. Dish up and ready to serve.

Nice look great
Do u strip off the shell of shrimp or not. If u don't then u might get little smell of stomach and fearsome eyes of the shrimp...Haha. Shrimp won't absorb the ingredients in it....


THIS is an awesome recipe! I just made it again (for 2nd time) tonite, and I "spiced" it up by adding some chili powder to the shrimp with the tumeric powder prior to cooking. YUM!

Leave the shells on! You can easily peel them and eat them! I made it again for the third time, but forgot the chili powder!
