Ingredients

How to make it

  • 1) Heat 3 tbsp oil in the preheated pan, stir fry your aromatics - garlic, onions, curry leaves.
  • 2) Add in the seasoned shrimps, pan fry on both sides until slightly browned.
  • 3) Add the tamarind concentrate in, salt, and sugar to taste, tossing and turning, stirring constantly until all ingredients are well mixed for 1 minute.
  • 4) Add a little water to prevent sticking onto the bottom of the pan, cover and simmer on low heat for another 2 minutes. Dish up and ready to serve.

Leave the shells on! You can easily peel them and eat them! I made it again for the third time, but forgot the chili powder!

THIS is an awesome recipe! I just made it again (for 2nd time) tonite, and I "spiced" it up by adding some chili powder to the shrimp with the tumeric powder prior to cooking. YUM!

    Nice look great
Do u strip off the shell of shrimp or not. If u don't then u might get little smell of stomach and fearsome eyes of the shrimp...Haha. Shrimp won't absorb the ingredients in it....
