Almond Cupcakes

- 3/4 cup butter,softened shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla essence(or almond essence) shopping list
- 3/4 cup plain flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 4 tbsp chopped almonds shopping list
How to make it
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time and beat in well.
- Add the vanilla essence and beat again.
- Sieve in the flour and baking powder.Beat until well combined.
- Add 3 tbsp chopped almonds and mix gently together. See Photo
- Using a tablespoon,divide the batter into the cupcake cases,filling till 3/4 full.
- Sprinkle remaining 1 tbsp chopped almonds on top of each cupcakes. See Photo
- Bake at 180 C for 15-18 minutes.
- Remove from the oven,leave for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire-rack to cool.
