- 3# beef brisket shopping list
- 24 ounces(2 bottles) Guinnes beer shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- 2 bay leafs shopping list
- 10 pepper corns shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley shopping list
- 2 TDS. olive oil shopping list
- 3 large cloves of garlic- slicid shopping list
- 3 large leaks-chopped shopping list
- 1 yellow onion-sliced shopping list
- 1# carrots-sliced shopping list
- 1# small red potatoes shopping list
- 1# turnips-quartered shopping list
- 1 head of green cabbage-cut into 6 wedges and secured with toothpicks to prevent from falling apart shopping list
How to make it
- In a LARGE stock pot,add beef,beer,water,bay leaf,peppercorns,parsley and salt to taste. place over high heat to bring to a boil,meanwhile saute onions,garlic and leaks in olive oil for 5 minutes and add to pot,cover and simmer for 3 hours
- in last 25 minutes of cooking,add remaining ingredients
- serve with cool, not cold, guinnes
