This wonderful recipe is from Joan Nathan. She has such flare when it comes to cooking and here is her version of Gefilte fish. My fish of choice is whitefish although carp is the traditional fish mostly used in Europe.

The original is made with carp. Whitefish is the modern version.
I posted the original Polish/Jewish recipe, the way the "ALTE BOBBA" (old grandmothers) used to make it.
