Everyone has their own "authentic" version. I make no claims to authenticity, but I've also not run across one that uses limes rather than lemons.

Ingredients
  • 10 avocados, skinned and pitted
  • 1 bunch cilantro, chopped fine
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 Tbsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 c lime juice
  • 1 c green onion, chopped

Directions
  1. Smash the avocado smooth by adding th elime juice while using a potato masher.
  2. Mix in garlic salt, green onion, and cilantro.
  3. Fold in diced tomatoes.
