Enchilada Sauce

- 1/4 cup vegetable shortening shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 2 tablespoons chili powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- 16 ounces tomato sauce shopping list
- 3 teaspoons beef granules shopping list
How to make it
- In skillet heat shortening until melted.
- Add flour and cook until lightly browned (be careful not to overcook)
- Add seasonings to make a paste.
- Gradually add water.
- Add tomato sauce and beef granules and mix well.
- Use immediately or freeze for future use.
