How to make it

  • Cut elephant into small bite size pieces. this should take about 2 months
  • Add enough brown gravy to cover
  • cook over kerosene fire for about 4 weeks at 465 degrees. This will serve approximately 3800 people.
  • If more are expected, the two rabbits may be used.
  • But do this only if necessary, as most people do not like to find hare in their stew.

When I got married, we sent recipe cards out with the invitations. People where to bring there favorite recipe to the wedding and I got a nice collection. This is the recipe my brother-in-law (then the college bachelor) brought for us. I'm glad to say I've never tried it!! Thanks for the memory!!
