Ingredients
  • 1 elephant
  • 2 rabbits
  • lots of brown gravy
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions
  1. Cut elephant into small bite size pieces. this should take about 2 months
  2. Add enough brown gravy to cover
  3. cook over kerosene fire for about 4 weeks at 465 degrees. This will serve approximately 3800 people.
  4. If more are expected, the two rabbits may be used.
  5. But do this only if necessary, as most people do not like to find hare in their stew.

I love this recipe... It is a lot of fun...

When I got married, we sent recipe cards out with the invitations. People where to bring there favorite recipe to the wedding and I got a nice collection. This is the recipe my brother-in-law (then the college bachelor) brought for us. I'm glad to say I've never tried it!! Thanks for the memory!!
