How to make it

  • Process pears in a food processor until smooth.
  • Combine pear puree and remaining ingredients in a medium sauté pan over medium heat.
  • Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook for 3 hours or until mixture is thick.

    Nothing quite like the taste of cardamom with pears! Of course, the ginger is the icing on the cake, so to speak. Thanks and I can't wait to try this sauce.
