Cheese Roll Au Poivre Recipe
A jelly-roll style cheese "ball". It's a nice change up from the norm.

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 teaspoons coarse ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Directions
  1. Combine cream cheese, butter, garlic powder, onion powder and thyme.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Line a cookie sheet with plastic wrap.
  4. Spread mixture to 6"x8"x1/4" thickness.
  5. Cover and refrigerate 20 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with ground pepper.
  7. Roll up like a jelly roll.
  8. Sprinkle with paprika.
  9. Cover and refrigerate several hours.
  10. Slice and serve with crackers and/or party breads.
