I first tasted this at a friensd house 7 years ago. Well I just recently got the recipe from her and baked it myself..simply put it was fantastic! This also goes well with a butterscotch frosting that I posted as well

I love cooking from scratch so you know I'm going to try this out today....thought I'd make another recipe but this one sounds even better. Going to bake it in mini cake pans though & will let you know how it turns out! Sounds delicious and I need something for a woman whos doing painting in my home this week. I replaced the sugar with honey and some brown sugar, and sprinkled brown sugar + cinnamon on top for a nice crust. I also stuck some apple slices into the batter. It turned out tasty, but yeah, next time will use about triple the amount of spices.
