This is a very rich and easy frosting. it goes well with the applesauce cake that I posted

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine softened
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Directions
  1. mix all ingredients until well blended and smooth
  2. can leave out the nuts and sprinkle nuts on cake only AFTER you spread the frosting
  3. spread on a baked warm cake and put cake in oven on broil for three minutes, until nuts are slightly browned
  4. ENJOY
