Stovetop Cinnamon Apples Recipe

Ingredients

6 c. tart cooking apples, peeled and chopped

3/4 c. packed brown sugar

1/4 c. apple juice or cider

1 t. cinnamon

1/8 t. nutmeg (or cloves, if you prefer)

1/8 t. salt

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.

Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 40 minutes or until the apples are tender, stirring occasionally.
