Sweet Potato Pie From The Tomato Head

- Crust shopping list
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter, melted shopping list
- Filling shopping list
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, soft shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves shopping list
- 2 cups sweet potato, mashed shopping list
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained shopping list
How to make it
- Crust
- Mix ingredients together and press into bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie pan.
- Filling
- In a medium bowl mix together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and beat with a whisk until smooth.
- Next, add vanilla, milk and heavy cream again whisk until smooth -- then add cinnamon, cloves, sweet potato and pineapple and mix well.
- Pour prepared filling into pie crust and bake for 45 mintues at 375 degrees.
- Cool for 2 hours or overnight.
- Serve at room temperature with whipped cream.
