How to make it

  • Lightly drizzle a little extra vrigin olive oil over beef tips, and season well with seasonings
  • Place in slow cooker
  • Stir together Mushrooms, onion, soup, water/beef stock, dry soup mix and pour over meat
  • Cook on low 6-8 hours
  • ** If my meat is frozen, I leave it that way. It will be nice and brown and tender when you get home from work. Just cut back a little on the water **
  • Remove slow cooker from base and place on stovetop, OR Transfer beef and sauce to stove top pot just before serving and bring to low boil
  • Mix together the cornstarch and 2 T water
  • Pour into pot and stir to thicken gravy
  • Remove from heat and stir in sour cream
  • Serve over rice or noodles
